BUYER BEWARE -- This has already been published before by the magazine imprint "All About History" under the title Book of Vikings From Their Origins & Conquests To Their Legacy. It has been available at newsstands for the past few years in at least two editions that I know about. So if you are a collector of books on Vikings like I am, you might already have it. I feel like I've been bamboozled -- classic marketing deception here. With that said, the material itself isn't that bad. The text is informative, and the illustrations complement the writing being a combination of medieval, Victorian, and contemporary photographs. It is a decent guide for beginners, which is why I am giving it three stars though I feel like giving it one.
